4-bit binary adder
A KiCad circuit that makes binary addition visible through switches and LEDs.
Design & process
- 01Designed cascaded XOR, AND, and OR gates to perform multi-bit addition and propagate carry between stages.
- 02Integrated eight switch-controlled inputs and LED outputs for input states, summed bits, and carry behavior.
- 03Routed power, ground, and signals across 74HC-series logic ICs and verified schematic connectivity and functionality.
